Android App Privacy Policy

The Ttrounce Varanasi Android app provides student-facing learning, account and communication features for Ttrounce Varanasi. The application is technically developed and maintained by Freelancer Syntax Pvt. Ltd. on behalf of Ttrounce Varanasi. Ttrounce Varanasi remains the primary contact for student-service and privacy requests. Android package: com.freelancersyntax.trouncevaranasi.

Depending on the enabled feature, the app may process the student's name, registered mobile number or email, profile information, roll or batch information, admission validity, course and learning records, attendance or progress information made available to the student, optional profile photo, app or device identifiers, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, app version, timestamps, limited network or diagnostic information, notification delivery status and support or service messages. Registration information maintained by the institute may include date of birth, address, qualification, parent or guardian details, questionnaire responses and rules acceptance.

The app uses the Firebase project trouncevaranasi for enabled Firebase services. Student authentication uses Firebase Phone Authentication as the primary phone-verification method and an email OTP fallback where supported. After successful identity verification and eligibility checks against the Ttrounce registration record, the backend issues access and refresh sessions. Firebase or Google may process technical information according to the enabled Firebase products and Google's applicable terms and privacy documentation.

The app should request only permissions required by active features. Android presents runtime permission prompts where applicable. A permission may be declined unless the related feature cannot work without it. The app does not require privileged server credentials to be stored on the device.

Push notifications may be used for learning updates, events, account or service notices and other relevant student communication. A device notification token is registered with the backend when needed, refreshed when it changes, removed or disabled on logout or when invalid, and is not intended to be exposed in application logs.

Authenticated API access uses short-lived JWT access tokens and revocable refresh sessions bound to the student session or device context. Disabled, inactive or no-longer-eligible student records are denied protected access. OTPs, refresh tokens and other security secrets are handled with limited retention and are not intended to be displayed or logged in plaintext.

Ttrounce Varanasi does not sell personal data. Information may be processed by hosting, email, Firebase or Google, notification and technical service providers where needed to operate the app. Freelancer Syntax Pvt. Ltd. may access technical systems where reasonably required for authorized development, maintenance and security support. Access should be limited to the purpose for which it is required.

Student and admission records may be retained for education, attendance, certificate, account, legal, accounting, security and institutional purposes. Temporary OTPs and expired sessions are subject to cleanup. Invalid notification tokens are disabled. App-account deletion requests are handled according to the dedicated Account Deletion page and do not necessarily require deletion of every historical institutional record.

Where the app is used by a learner under 18, parent or guardian involvement may be required where applicable law or the institute's registration process requires it. A parent or guardian may contact Ttrounce Varanasi regarding a minor's account or personal information, subject to appropriate verification.

Users may contact Ttrounce Varanasi to request correction of inaccurate profile information, ask privacy questions, opt out of non-essential marketing communication, or request deletion of app-account access data subject to identity verification and applicable retention requirements.
